Paul is a Special Education teacher. He has direct teaching experience from Kindergarten to Graduate Programs in Canada and the United States. Annie Ape: The Magic Bullet to Literacy is the outcome of more that 25 years of work with beginning students considered unprepared to learn.

Paul was granted a B.A. and B.A. Ed. from Western Washington State College. He completed an M.A. program in Modern Languages at the University of Washington. His Doctor of Philosophy degree, in Reading Education, was awarded by the University of Georgia.

He is an advanced trainer in both Structure of Intellect (SOI) Systems and Learning Breakthrough Program (Sensory Integration/Balametrics).  As well, he has Level 1 training in NeuroNet Therapy.  Paul has presented workshops locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Paul's interest is in the translation of current brain research into best classroom practices.
